At Frydach Insurance, we spend a lot of time ensuring our clients have quality coverage, excellent service, and competitive rates. We do our best to serve them in every way we can. In addition to what we do for them, we have some advice for them, and for you as well. Today, we will discuss some of the most valuable tips we have for them, and other Germantown drivers as well.
Call Us Anytime, for Any Reason
We think of our clients as much more than just policyholders. We view them as someone that has trusted us to have their back and to watch out for them. So our allegiance is to them – not an insurance company. We cultivate an open door policy that encourages our clients to ask questions, voice their concerns, seek advice, and more. Whether they need help to decipher the fine print in their policy or they would like us to review their coverage, we are here for them. If you are not a client, don’t hesitate to call, we’d welcome your questions as well.
We’re Here to Help
It’s important for our clients to understand that reaching out for help can save them a lot of time and frustration. Instead of taking the DIY approach, which often results in expensive and unnecessary mistakes, we can explain the details of their coverage, facilitate communication between them and their insurer, and ensure things like claims and billing are taken care of as smoothly as possible.
Monitor Your Consumer Reports
There are several things that affect our client’s insurance coverage and the price they pay for it. For example, the information found in various consumer reports are used to gauge the risk our clients pose, and they determine how much they will pay for coverage. The three primary reports that insurance companies use are a policyholder’s CLUE report, their credit report, and their driving record.
Your Clue Report
A CLUE report is generated from a database that tracks a policyholder’s prior claims history with previous insurers. Records are kept about claims whether they were approved or denied. The logic is that the fewer claims one has had in the past, the less likely it is that they will have a claim in the future. You can order a personal copy of your CLUE Report at https://personalreports.lexisnexis.com/fact_act_disclosure.jsp.
Your Credit Report
Insurance companies have created what is called an Insurance Score. An Insurance Score is primarily based off of one’s credit report, which includes information about various bank accounts and credit card activity. It details credit limits, balances, and payment history. Insurance companies believe that the more responsible one is with their credit, the less likely it is that they will have claims in the future. Your Driving Record
Finally, and as you might expect, a driving record is considered. A driving record includes a list of a driver’s moving vehicle and alcohol-related violations. In Wisconsin, it is produced and maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles. Again, insurance companies believe that a driver’s past experience is a good predictor of future incidents. Your Wisconsin driving record can be obtained for a $7 fee at http://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/dmv/license-drvs/rcd-crsh-rpt/records.aspx.
We recommend reviewing the information in these reports for accuracy since the data therein is used to formulate your coverage rates.
Invest in a Long-Lasting Relationship with Your Agent
A relationship that stands the test of time is one you can feel confident in. Our advice? Find a reputable independent car insurance agent in Germantown and stick with them. The more your agent gets to know you, the easier it is for them to understand your risk exposure and recommend coverage that protects you, your loved ones, and the life you have worked so hard to build. With an independent agent, you may move between insurers over the years, but you will still have the same friendly and familiar face there to assist you no matter what.
